Primarily, I enjoy studying foreign languages and cultures. I have and continue to study Spanish, French, and Russian and have formally studied a bit of Latin as well. I am interested in linguistics, particularly the evolution of language special emphasis on idiomatic expressions, which could perhaps be fodder for future research and dissertation. I am also fascinated with both psychology and sociology, particularly studies of the criminal mind and also the sociological factors contributing to deviant behavior. History, emphasis on western civilization from known origins to the early 20th century, is of interest to me as well. I do enjoy almost all types of music, and can play saxophone although it has been a few years since I have done so. When I have time, I like to paint and enjoy using both oils and acrylics. In general, I enjoy life and am constantly seeking something new to learn.
