This lesson has wide variety of common vocabulary and activities. It provides a good introduction to German life and culture, and is appropriate for all level German students. Could be assigned reading for level two and above.

This site offers a wide variety of phrases that are useful for different real-life situations. Each little unit has a description which makes it easy to search for a particular topic.

This site provides pictures (without captions) that will aid in class discussion. Most pictures contain more than one item, and many provide a sequence of pictures for story telling. This resource will be good for teaching beginning students basic vocabulary, and for expanding on the vocabulary and grammar with more advanced students.

This is a great way to show students how events are viewed in Germany. For example, it is always interesting to see how another country views our elections. Note: you have to selecet "view all papers" and scroll way down to find German papers - they are listed alphabetically.
