great show of selestion presure. can be used during natural selection lessons. also teaches allelic frequency and talks about phenotype and genotype. great wya to start or end a lesson on selection presure and evolution

good overview of biomes with activities to review information. works as an outside of class activity (homework/review) or as a lesson.

huge amount of information...

use as a group activity each group picking one concept and doing a brief report about it.

should be done at end of genetics chapter or in middle (deffinatly requires a bit of background before starting)

TOX TOWN

use with human impact section of living environment.

can come off as boring or childish (too cartoony) but good information

break into groups and either work on different areas or group picks a different part of their hom type (ie class all does city each group picks different are such as brown field or hospital)

good to reinforce the fact that we add a lot of wierd things to our environment and that we have to be carful with certain things
