The Distance Learning Resource Network (DLRN), located at WestEd, is the dissemination project for the U.S. Department of Education Star Schools Program. It's a good place to start when you are looking for information regarding distance education. Contains links, as well as the Distance Learning Resource Network Journal.
The Distance Education Clearinghouse website, maintained by the University of Wisconsin-Extension in cooperation with its partners and other UW institutions, provides a wide range of information about distance education and related resources. Topics include, designing effective distance education programs, technology and network options, program and course offerings, legislative news, and funding sources.
The USDLA is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote the development and application of distance learning in Pre-K through grade 12 education, higher education, home school education, continuing education, corporate training, military and government training, and telemedicine. The association provides information and recommendations for government agencies, Congress, industry and those entering into the development of distance learning programs.
