The Virtual Language Centre is a resource-assisted eLearning website for studying English. The VLC is an eLearning system that integrates several strategies for using computers to support language learning and study, including dictionary reference, concordancing and multimedia. The VLC is designed to be used for both self-access independent learning and as a teaching resource for teachers. It offers free reading, grammar, vocabulary exercises and games. Also included are a Listen and Learn area, an academic writing course, help with pronunciation, a web concordancer and dictionary with text-to-speech support, software downloads and a teacher's toolbox.

byki.com provides free downloads of digital vocabulary lists in 30+ languages. The lists are integrated into a learning process that involves 4 interactive steps to mastery. It allows for effortless keyboard adaptation for non- Roman script languages. The company, Transparent Language, has produced a language learning product that is being used by a number of large government agencies to train employees in many languages. An integral part of the product is sharing the language learning products between government agencies.
