Added 11/20/2009
Free Internet TV. I am not familiar with most of the Channels. I will first have to watch them myself.
4.

New York Public Library Digital Gallery

Added 11/20/2009
I am pretty sure I will be able to find images about German immigrants in this database. German immigration is part of the German SOLs. In the long run I will probably have a separate list on this topic.
5.

Deutsche Fotogalerie, Davidson College

Added 11/20/2009
This picture gallery is available for teaching. The pictures were taken in 1998, therefore some images are outdated. However, I found very interesting images from modern Germany. This site is definitely much more than the usual tourist images of old houses. Bilder: Hameln, Der Rattenfänger von Hameln
6.

Kaleidoskop: Alltag in Deutschland

Alltag in Deutschland, Texte mit Bildern, wenn man sucht, findet man auch Videos. sehr gute Qualität, vom Goethe Institut alles auf Deutsch!
