Excellent language data provided by U.S. English Foundation Research. The site offers a variety of reports which show the number of languages spoken in US. Site users can sort data by language spoken (see Languages of the USA report under Nationwide Facts heading). Site users can also get specific language data for a state, county, etc.

The MLA Language Map is intended for use by students, teachers, and anyone interested in learning about the linguistic and cultural composition of the United States.
