Learning Outcomes:
Students must proficiently and correctly measure blood pressure that matches the instructor's reading by no more than 5 points on systolic and diastolic pressure readings.
Pedagogy Approach:
Cognitive delivery of safe and effective assessment first, followed by lab demonstrations and practice. Integrated into case study test by final exam week.
Assessment Methodology:
Pass lab skills check off completed by professor, after demonstration online and in lab; lab test of skills by end of the course.
