Guidelines for Reading and Analyzing Literature

Added 02/15/2013

Meridith from IDOL wrote this:

an incredibly helpful/exhaustive list of brainstorming questions that walks a student through every possible element of an essay (or literature, overall). If my students were made to go through just certain sections of questions on this page, they would have an excellent supply of ideas for an evaluation essay and a thorough comprehension of what an author is doing and how in that primary essay. My only concern however is the copyright issue with this source; Merlot is not sure if this material is part of the Creative Commons, but it is copyrighted…so this source may prove very difficult to use.
