This is a collection of resources used to instruct High School students in the basic concepts of criminal justice.


This is designed for first year criminal justice students in high school. It gives study guides for the material and Powerpoints to teach from, as well as tests for comprehension. It is taken from a college level textbook, which causes concerns for the vocabulary used and students need to be incouraged to ask immediately if they do not understand the word or the context.


9th grade student

Learning Outcomes:

Students will be well versed in the basic concepts of law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

Pedagogy Approach:

Simple straight forward delivery of facts pertaning to law and law enforcement and assessment for comprehension.
