The biology project: mendelian genetics is a website that offers problem sets for high school genetics.  Genetics is a chapter in biology that is very problem based and students will receive a significant advantage by practicing these problems in either class or at home.  Problems are based on creating and interpreting punnet squares which can be challenging for some students especially if they are not comfortable with certain math techniques such as ratios.  This can be used as an in class group activity assignment.  Students will start with problems that are at a beginner level, once they can master these problems they will work on problems that have an increased level of difficulty such as dihybrid crosses.  When doing this group activity assignment it will be important to differentiate students based on ability so all students can gain a mastery of the problems that are geared towards their level of learning.
