This website would be very helpful to teachers in a high school setting who are teaching genetics. This site has great animaitons and sample problems from the cells to the structure of DNA. It helps not only teachers but also a good source for students.

Neuroscience for Kids

This is a a great website for middle school teachers teaching the nervous sysytem. They give you a list of experiments that can be done and also have a question answer section. You can submit any questions you may have relating to neuroscience and they answer the question for you. For example if you go into neurological disorders it generates a list of different disorders and gives a great lesson on how the disorder affects the system and cures symptoms and so on.

This is a really nice website for chemistry teachers in high school or middle school. It is helpful for teachers and students. Once you get into the website there is a large periodic table and you can click on any element and it directs you to another page that gives you more detail about the element. Such as the different properties.

Understanding Evolution

Teaching evolution is tricky. This website helps the teacher foucs on key concepts of evolution like natural selection and inheritance. It also gives information on things the teahcer might want to stay away from. It gives you videos and assignments that can be used as homework assignments or extra credit.

This website helps teach about the brain. It breaks it down from the basics of a brain to the more complex things like disorders and the development of the brain. It also has information on the mind and how we think. It has great pictures of the brain that can be useful in a classroom.
