Description:

These are materials I could use for chemistry teaching in high school.

Authorized users only:

1.

Chemistry Study Cards

Added 04/02/2014

These flashcards can be used for studying for tests but not for understanding the concepts. I would refer this website to students in need of a way of studying besides the conventional method of reading the book and solving problems.

2.

Atomic Theory: The Early Days

Added 04/02/2014

I do not think that this is the ideal way to teach a class. I believe though that this can be a website for students to go to if they are interested in this specific topic.

3.

Dilutions

Added 04/02/2014

This is something that I can use to explain dilutions to my class. Dilutions are hard to understand so I would give them this website to look at at home.

4.

CHEMTUTOR

Added 04/02/2014

This is a good internet study guide teaching a lot of stuff that science teachers would teach. However there is too much text so students may get bored and not use this.

5.

Chembalancer - balancing equations game

Added 04/02/2014

Seems like a very basic game but it seems to be a mildly fun "game".
