I don't understand economics, but this was easy to understand. It appears to be a summarization based on a book by C-Y Hsu. It explains China's 10 year plans for economic development. What was of interest was the Chinese actually had a "plan״, which I'm not sure that we the U.S. have a "plan״. I'm not sure there is a 10 year plan on the state level, if there is, I've never seen or known of one. Normally our plans are short-term. The Chinese also ran into problems with some of their sectors (poor land to build) and revised the plan. It seems to be working because they're upstaging the U.S. in economic growth. Not sure how dated this material is, but it should be updated to discuss their 10 year plan for the 21st century.Technical Remarks:This was a presentation on a website that one could scroll through and read. There were no hyperlinks. It could be converted to a PPT presentation.
