The problems in this group use the DataGraph Physlet to both display the
function to expand, and to plot the series defined by the entered Fourier
coefficients. Three functions are utilized: an odd square wave, an even
square wave, and an even pulse train with randomly set duty cycle.
Feedback is provided for each coefficient. Students usually enter them one
at a time, and therefore see the series develop as each term is added.
Incorrect results are plotted too, and this can provide important feedback. The
pulse train problem provides a nice transition to Fourier transforms.
