Multi faceted explanation of the French Revolution and the surrounding periods of French History. A successful attempt to integrate the many prior, contemporary, and resulting aspects of theis period.

A wide variety of extremely useful sources, including many from different areas of the humanities, including music, art, literature,philosophy, political intimate, global look at this pivotal time and event.
