This is probably the most useful tool I have ever used in preparation for an astronomy program.  I can know exactly what the night sky will look like months before I present a program on constellations.  It also shows the movement of the planets, sun, and moon.  It even has a red filter so that you can have it on your computer at night without blinding yourself.  And it's free!
