I thought the structure of this resource was very well designed. Brian did a great job of teaching users how to actually navigate his resource. The learning goals and objectives were clearly spelled out right from the start, and learners knew not only what they would learn, but in what sequence they would learn the material. I also felt like the summaries at the bottoms of the pages were helpful in making sure I understood the goal of each individual page. The links and videos were also helpful in giving another avenue to access the information. These added links fell within the UDL principles and allowed the user to access the information in a different way and get clarification on terms or concepts that may be difficult to understand. As was the case with the clearly laid out objectives at the start of the lesson, I felt that it was extremely helpful to have those same goals re-stated at the end as a wrap up. Overall the design of this instructional resource was great and would be a meaningful learning tool.
The resource worked really well and the icon guide at the start was very helpful for navigation. The only problem was that it would not play in safari. When I clicked the link from my email on my mac it only opened the file in preview. I may have my download preferences set incorrectly, but it worked just fine on my pc.
