This is an excellent lesson focusing on an essential skill in this information age. As students are inundated with information, they need to be taught how to discern and sort through all the noise. Doing online research well is crucial to their academic and career success. This lesson should be a requirement for every high school student, and could even be repeated to emphasize its importance. It is a great way to start a research project.
