This is a great article to introduce to children, it deomonsrates the importance of selection and how specific gene mutations allow for greater survival amongst a large population.  One might wonder why all sharks did not have the same adapatation if they all live in the same enviornment.  But the hammerhead allows for it too hunt prey that other species of sharks are not successful at catching.  Thus a greater success rate.
