Disaster in Franklin County: A Public Health Simulation

Rating: No Rating (Comment only)

Comment: I used this fantastic simulation in my public health nursing course. Following the simulation I have the students write a reflective paper on what they learned. The class always finds the simulation to be very helpful in describing the role of the public health nurse in a disaster situation. The simulation also allows the student to explore other professional roles of disaster emergency personnel and to experience the consequences of poor practice choices in a safe environment.
