A Basic UNIX Tutorial

Rating: 4 stars
Used in Course: Not used in course
Submitted by: Jerry Isaacs (Faculty), Nov 26, 2001
Comment: This is a very good tutorial which can be used to introduce students to the UNIX
operating systems.

However, there is mostly textual information with few diagrams and links. It
would be more useful if it was broken down into components which would allow the
user to better determine what information they wanted without a lot of
scrolling. Use of color to separate the different headings and examples would
also be useful.

Exercises are included which could be assigned by the instructor.
