Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty
Rating:
Strengths:
- This was very easy to use, including drop-down menus from the categories across the top of the blog to the items listed.
- Everything is a clickable link.
Concerns:
- The ads on the blog are not distracting, but the user needs to be aware that online degrees and other products are offered, mixed in with some useful information.
- So much of the material is based on Google, that it seems like an ad for the company.
Other Issues and Comments:
- This gives the appearance of being a website about websites. It is not that the material is bad, it is just easily available in regular searches. He identifies this as a blog, but it appears he would like it to be taken as more than personal opinion.
-It is also not clear why the blog owner would elect to focus primarily on Google. For a blog, there is very little discussion.
