Users will learn about available images and the various sizes and uses. Users will learn about copyright and the differences between images and written materials and copyright.

Strengths:: The scope and depth of the resources is outstanding, the information is delivered with clarity and supported with examples in text and in images.
Concerns:: Because of the large amount of information offered in this Libguide and the links to other libguides, it can be overwhelming for a novice user.

Strengths:: This libguide will be most effective if used as a supporting resource for lessons on visual literacy or for any discussion on how to properly use visual material.
Concerns:: Since the learning objectives are not identified, it makes it difficult to use as a teaching tool without specific directions to the student.

Strengths:: This libguide is easy to use if you have some experience navigating webpages. The up button at the right margin is a useful feature to navigate the page.
Concerns:: It is common to link to other libguides within a libguide but this can be confusing to a novice user because the link will exit the user from the original libguide and open a different libguide. A novice user may not realize this and may find it hard to get back to the original libguide.

Other Issues and Comments:: The material is updated on a regular basis so the content is current. This is more of a holding area for visual images and not something you would send users to learn about imagery on great detail. It would be of use to upper division users and professional people in disciplines that use images. Undergraduate students would become frustrated with the massive amount of information and no real direction of where to go next.
