This simulation of a natural disaster provides the learner with the opportunity to try several different public health professional roles and develop an understanding of related issues. The author provides an overview noting a focus in the following areas:

Although the program is available at no cost, registration is required for access. After registration the user must wait for email notification at which point his/her account may be activated at which point the user is asked to read information and either agree or disagree to a statement of consent to participate in an evaluation of whether there is a difference in the way in which students or graduates of programs with course work reflecting Bioterrorism and Emergency Readiness competencies respond to questions posed in a simulated emergency. The simulation is not available to those who decline participation. The user then must answer several questions.
Upon submission of the requested demographic information PRE-SURVEY QUESTIONS are displayed. Upon completion of PRE-SURVEY QUESTIONS the user is taken to the Pre-test. Immediate feedback is provided upon submission of both the Pre- and post-tests. Users can return to the material without repeating this entire process however.
