This collection contains a comprehensive set of activities that involve ruler and compass activities. Some of the activities guide the student through the constructions while others ask the students to come up with their own steps to accomplish the given tasks. There is also a section that uses animations and step-by-step constructions to demonstrate how to solve geometric construction problems. The site contains around 75 different activities for the geometry student to try. Topics include circles, parallel lines, angles, measurement, trigonometry, functions percents, bisections, etc.~~~~~This website was developed by Henrico County Public Schools in Virginia using C.a. R. software written by Dr. René Grothmann. C.a..R. is a free and open source program, including documentation and demos, and can be downloaded free of charge. In the both the Assignments and Problems sections, the computer lets the student know when the construction task is accomplished. There is a detailed introduction section that shows the student how to use the tools and provides individual practice

Although there are a large variety of tools that the students use, they are well labeled and the instructions are clearly explained. Students can use this program with or without guidance from the instructor. Steps may be reversed so that it is not necessary to start over when an error occurs.
