Ease of Use for Both Students and Faculty
Rating:
Strengths:
Screens are visually appealing and sound quality is good. While the presentation has minimal graphics, and is primarily text oriented (with sound), this format is appropriate given the technical nature of the regulations being studied. The materials are easy to use and user friendly. Slides are professionally designed. The conversational approach adds interest. Periodic, required user data entry adds an element of interactivity to maintain engagement. The closed captioning really helps those who want to clarify what they heard by checking the written text.
Concerns:
Moving backwards through the slides can only be done using the table of contents which is one of the last slides in the presentation. While open, it covers a third of the current presentation.
Other Issues and Comments:
Very down-to-earth and informative.
