“Skeletal System and Joints” is a presentation in lecture format. Content covered in the presentation includes function of the skeletal system, organization of the skeletal system, bone structure, types of bone tissue, bone development and growth, basic types of joints, bones of the skull and sutures, and fractures. After completion of this presentation, students will be able to list the functions of the skeleton, identify bones that are part of the axial and appendicular skeleton, describe the major parts of bone and how they develop, identify types of joints and describe different types of fractures. This particular resource is a chapter outline of the skeletal system chapter of a textbook.

The content provided is accurate and provides an adequate amount of material.
The content is clear and concise.
The content in the presentation provides a solid introductory foundation for understanding bones and joints.
Quality of graphics is good and provides enough detail for this level of understanding.

Concerns:

Be consistent with the grammar. Either use periods at the end of all sentences or don’t, but be consistent.
The presentation could be better organized by using either Roman numerals, numbers or letters to format the information provided in the site.
The resource presented indicates that it is from "Chapter 7" but there is no reference to a book title.
Under the sutures section, in the fontanel sentence, it says to see page 143, but does not list a corresponding book.
