PATSy - A patient database for research and training

PATSy is an established on-line learning resource. It is a web-based generic shell designed to accept data from any discipline that has cases. The domains represented on PATSy currently include developmental reading disorders, neuropsychology, neurology/medical rehabilitation and speech and language pathologies. PATSy contains 61 data-rich and extensively described cases of adults and children with disorders that can be accessed under 4 domain headings - speech and language, dyslexia, medical rehabilitation and neuropsychology. Looks like a good resource for referring students in the specific areas noted.

Technical Remarks:

Gave option for guest login once inside material, but no explanation of how to login as a guest. Needs additional information to guide participant through login process.

An excellent place to see clinical case studies of virtual patients. Subscription based, only in the UK, and possibly elsewhere too. There are some free "walktrough" demos. Valuable resource for students and researches.
