I love your intergation of a variety of subjects.  It is a very thoughful and effective way to teach all the different subjects.  The lesson is very authentic and I think it would really get students motivated and intererested in learning.  

I think that it is every effective how in the plan it says you will model what you expect of them and you will give examples of your expectations.  I also really like how students will have an opportunity to work in small groups.  Small groups are great for learning to work together and guiding each others learning.  The component of presentation is also a key part of the lesson.  Student learn so much from peers.  This is a great way for them to show off what they have learned.  


I would love to have an example of the rubics that you used for this lesson.  It would be helpful to see what you were looking for in each project.  I would also like to see the packet that you metioned in the lesson.  Seeing the pages that you references would paint a clear picture of what the lesson looked like.

This looks like a great lesson plan.  I have not had the opportunity to apply it, but I love the integration of technology.  There are a number of points that make this a good lesson. 1. Age-appropriate technology incorporation (word processor and powerpoint)
 2. Collecting and compiling data (real-world application)
 3. High motivation (group-work, active learning)
 4. Covers a wide range of GLCEs (clearly stated in the plan)
