“The website provided is a great resource for visual resources. It is often difficult to access high quality examples of artwork because of copyright laws and internet search engines not filtering out untrustworthy sources. This is one of the richest online art galleries I have seen. This link provided me as an educator a whole host of educational support through rich Art History; a wealth of information regarding art, artists, movements and genres. This website also provides additional lessons, resources and tutorials should you wish to take advantage of them. As an art educator, one of the biggest challenges is providing students with high quality opportunities to experience real art; prints and posters are expensive! But this website provides free images that are of excellent quality that give students a visual experience similar to one you may have with work hanging on the walls of a museum.”

I agree with previous poster. Commercial site isn't really a useful resource for our students.

This is a commercial site devoted to selling replicas of works of art. The site will be of very little use to art historians and their students.
