I have been teaching my first graders about the Chinese culture for 3 weeks. My students were super excited to learn about the Chinese culture. Students learned how to write numbers in Chinese Characters, taste Lo Mien noodles, and used chopsticks. My principal announced a door decorating contest that was lead by students. My students wanted the Theme to be about China.
Many Panda Bears lives in China and loves to eat Bamboo . My students created Pandas .
My students wrote about the noodles in China . Students were able to try Lo. Mien noodles !! ( P.S. I am sorry about the rotation of the picture it was not working ).

This is my door it was led by my students. Students have the Chinese map, flag, and painted on canvas. Students painted Chinese Characters. I work for a very small private school that have 70 kids total . I have 7 first grade students.
