Description of Accomplishments that Met Goals

  • Evaluate the role of nutrition in optimizing health throughout the lifecycle and respond to harmful nutrition practices.

In a nutrition and dietic class I learned how optimize health and how to create a health care plan for a patient. Also, we learned how food scientist create healthy meals for resale. 

  • Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to apply management principles to nutrition and food service.

In a food principle class I learned how to budget a workbook for a restaurant. As well as creating a menu full of nutritious options based on the theme of the restaurant.  

  • Demonstrate basic food preparation and presentation skills.
While earning my associates degree in baking and pastry I have worked in multiple kitchens and understand the importance of food practices  
  • Apply food science knowledge.

While taking a how baking works lab  I learned how to substitute many healthy alternatives into baked products to help satisfied nutritious, needs while maintaining the delicious taste.
