Expectations and Results
The Purpose of this assignment was to improve critical thinking skills. In this assignment, I was to assess my personal and career goals for the next 1 year, 5 years, and 10 years. By completing this assessment, I was better able to outline my goals for both my personal and professional future.
The purpose for this assignment was to demonstrate the ability to perform research and show written communication skills. To complete this assignment, we were to research a leader in food and nutrition, learn about their background, and their contributions to food and nutrition. For my historical sketch, I chose to write about Hazel Stiebeling and her contributions to the development of the USDA daily dietary allowances of vitamins and minerals. I was able to learn that the first guidelines for vitamins and minerals was set because of economic hardships.
