Mt. Juliet Greenways / Bike Lanes
Greenways provide active transportation corridors
(Definition of a greenway: Going a green way somewhere.)
This guide will direct you to good places to walk and bike.
A Greenway is a corridor of land that takes you a green way somewhere.
Future Mt. Juliet greenways and sidewalks.
Mt. Juliet is working towards building green connections to help its citizen's get fit.
Grants Received:
Sidewalk along Belinda City Parkway from Mundy Memorial Park connecting to the Providence Trail.
Sidewalks on both side of Lebanon Road from Mt. Juliet Rd. to Nonaville Rd.
Safe Routes to School Grant to buld a sidewalk from Woodvale Street to Elzie Patton Elementary School.
Grant received for a connector greenway over and along Cedar Creek to Tuscan Gardens and Golden Bear Parkway. Opened in Fall 2022.
Grant received in Spring 2023 to extend the Cedar Creek Greenway north to Lebanon Road. There will be a traffic light to help greenway users cross Lebanon Road.
Grant received in 2022 for phase 3 of the Town Center Greenway west to Mt. Juliet Elementary. Must be started be 2025.
Grant received for sidewalks east along Lebanon Road on both sides of the road from Mt. Juliet Rd. to Park Glenn Dr. Construction to start in 2023. Finished in 2024.
First grant received by the Friends of of the Mt Juliet BPAC.(Jan 2026) This will provide a connector sidewalk along SE Springdaie Dr. connecting Mundy Park and Rutland Elementary School benefiting children and adults. The sidewalk also passes by the Will Sellers Park.

Robinson Trail
The center of town greenways.
The Town Center Greenway and Eagle Park.
This trail runs west from the Mt. Juliet train station.
Town Center Greenway
First phase of this greenway. Heads west next to W. Division Street. Starts at the Mt. Juliet train station. The 2nd phase 4th Ave. to Green Hill Road will start construction in March 2019.
A 3rd phrase will start construction in 2025, and continue on the south side of the train tracks to Mt. Juliet Elementary school.
Robinson Park Greenway
This short paved trail runs through the Mt. Juliet wetlands along Stoner Creek from Old Lebanon Dirt Road to N. Mt. Juliet Road.
Hickory Station Greenway
This is a very short greenway that runs along Stoner Creek the width of the Hickory Station development. It is a piece of the future Stoner Creek Greenway.

Walk, Run or Roll Route
This route begins and ends at the Mundy Memorial Park. Utilizes trails and roads.

Follow the Book Bike/Fire Truck Bike Mt. Juliet Day
1st Sunday in May at 2:00 -- 5.8 miles.
Uses bike lanes and lighty traveled neighborhood roads.
Follow the Fire Truck Ride
Bike Mt. Juliet day. Begins and ends at the MJ Train Station. Bonus ride goes along the Town Center Greenway to Eagle Bicycle Park. (.5 mile)
Another route starts at the police headquarters at Charlie Daniels Park.

Providence Trail -- This trail connects Munday Memorial Park to the Providence shopping center and the bike lanes on Mt. Juliet Road. Trails also connect the the Dell Webb neighborhood.

This trail meanders along Cedar Creek.
Tuscan Gardens Greenway
This little short greenway goes along Cedar Creek through the Tuscan Gardens neighbor.
Silverstone Greenway
Very short greenway along Stoner Creek.
Bradshaw Farms Greenway 2025
Jingle’s Christmas Ride with Rudolph the Reinbike, by Sally Robertson, the Biking Librarian of Mt Juliet.
This is a 18.9 mile story ride around Mt Juliet discovering small businesses and some Mt Juliet history. It starts at the train station.
