Welcome to the Cañon City Schools Social Emotional Learning and Behavioral Health Resource Center, a free online hub designed for Administrators, Teachers, Students, Families and Community Members to effectively support healthy social and emotional development building stronger self-awareness and citizenship in students and others. Our intention is to not provide pragmatic resources but to also to reduce social stigmas by increasing the awareness in the importance of behavioral health and wellness. Learn More Here about how the Cañon City Schools' Behavioral Health team is building partnerships and social emotional learning tools on behalf of our students and our community.

The aggregated data used for the CCS Educating the Whole Child video is taken from CCS 2021 Healthy Kids CO Survey. This CO Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) supported survey is typically administered biannually in school districts across Colorado. The Healthy Kids Colorado Survey (HKCS) is the CO's only comprehensive survey on the health and well-being of young people. The purpose of this survey is to better understand youth health and the factors that help young people make healthy choices.
