Brief Description of course highlights:
This course is an upper level elective for students in the major, but also fulfills a general education requirement.
Concepts of nutrition as they relate to nutritional needs, practices and problems throughout the life cycle. Nutritional counseling and education of individuals/groups toward health promotion and disease prevention.
Pre- or corequisites: non-freshman; CHEM 100, CHEM 102, CHEM 105, CHEM 111, CHEM 115 or CHEM 120A.
Cost Savings:
The formerly used textbook cost $95 to purchase new, and the class has a maximum enrollment of 42 students, so the total savings is up to almost $4000 a semester.
