About Me

Nice to "meet" you in a virtual sort of way. My name is Meredith and I have been working in higher education for about 20 years. My college, the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), is located in the neighborhood of Chelsea in the middle of New York City.- right near Madison Square Garden and not far from Time Square. 

I come from an Instructional Design and Training background until four years ago when I took a leadership role within IT and support an incredible staff who oversee all of the hardware, software, and peripherals in both the classrooms, labs, and office spaces. 

The reason for this particular site is part of an ePortfolio for an Emerging Technology course on Coursera called "Exploring Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Success."
