Communication and Collaboration
Tool 1: Flippingbook.com
This tool helps in creating a real book experience in digital format is easy. It easily transforms your PDF documents into elegant publications. There are two options available: Hardcover or Paperback Flipbook. The end result is very polished and professional. I used it to create a Flipbook of a PDF I had created for my teachers.
This tool is useful in creating interactive books for students and teachers, instead of boring and mundane PDFs. It looks and feels exactly like a book, and seems magical when the pages flip. The flipbook engaged the teachers and they found my content much more appealing than the regular PDF documents that I shared. I will definitely be using more of the tool.

The second resource/tool which I found to be really beneficial is Piktochart. I had seen many infographics made using this tool and had wondered at the professional result. It made me feel that one needed designing skills and technical knowledge to create such infographics. So I explored the tool and found it to be very easy to use and understand. There are ready made template that one can modify to suit their needs. It is the most visually attractive way of getting information across to students and teachers.
Piktochart: An easy infographic design app that requires very little effort to produce beautiful, high-quality graphics. Infographics can be presented on slideshows with Presentation Mode.
The only drawback I felt was that in free trial once can only create 5 free infographics and download them in PNG format. The other formats are available only on an upgrade.
I will most definitely make use of it to promote my school library and also to share resources and information with my school community.

With today's era of information explosion we are inundated with information and news from all types of sources. This had led to thinning of line between real and fake news. Hence, I used Piktochart to create an infographic on how to detect fake news.
