A plain is large parcel of flat land. Plains are usually found along valleys. There are no hills or mountains on plains. A plain does not have much trees on it. A savanna is a kind of plain.
In Trinidad, there is the Caroni Plain, Nariva Plain and Naparima Plain.

A valley is a are of land between mountains and hills. In Mountains, Ranges & Hills, you learnt about the different mountain ranges in Trinidad and Tobago, Between many of these mountains there will be valleys.
