Tanika Coates

As part of the senior team at ASCB, Tanika leads the Professional Development Department, where she is responsible for overseeing multiple federally funded grant programs that focus on career development within the scientific community. Additionally, she designs, develops, and implements independent, inclusive educational content and professional development initiatives. These programs are specifically tailored to support ASCB's diverse membership at various stages of their careers and to enhance the participation of underrepresented groups in the sciences with a focus on cell biology.
