Online for Life in New Hampshire

Living in NH will require people to live online to do your banking, healthcare, shopping, connecting with friends and family, employment, and more.

There are significant differences and gaps in people's skills and knowledge about how to live online, which can significantly disadvantage people who don't have strong the digital literacy skills.

Providing easy-to-use resources will help close the digital divide for many people.

  • This website provides a centralized way to get easy-to-use information that can help people in New Hampshire gain digital skills and use them to better their lives. This website focuses on 3 groups of people for its initial phase for a prototype website.
    • Service Providers in all areas needing to recommend digital literacy resources for their clients
    • Older Adults needing digital literacy skills to help them navigate the online world, especially when moving around the physical world becomes more difficult.
    • Adult English Language Learners needing to navigate the online world for jobs, education, housing, and more that is also written in English.

The National Collaborative for Digital Equity has designed this prototype website as part of a comprehensive strategy for enabling and sustaining economic, financial, social, and digital equity.
