Health literacy has always been important, but even more so now with so much technology. Health professionals need to be able to help their clientele have the skills to be ehealth literate.
1. From http://www.ehealthstrategies.com/, choose one book/document to read.
2. Identify the ICT literacy skills (see http://www.ala.org/acrl/standards/nursing and http://wikis.ala.org/acrl/index.php/Information_Literacy_in_Public_Health ) needed for individuals to be health literate. Also identify ICT strategies mentioned in the document to help foster health literacy.
