Exercise
You are a new Medical Assistant working in an outpatient family practice. Emily Carter is a new patient who has never been seen at this practice.
Create a new patient record in the EHR using the information provided above.
Enter all available demographic, contact, emergency contact, and insurance information.
Before completing the registration, review the record carefully for accuracy. Do not leave information blank if it has been provided in the scenario.
Do not create a second patient record if one already exists. Search the system first to verify that Emily Carter is not already registered.
