Exercise
Your skeletal and muscular systems work together to move your body parts. Together the two systems work like a simple machine called a lever. A lever is defined as a bar that is used to lift weight. The bar of the lever moves on a fixed point called the fulcrum. There are three classes of levers.
Students will now watch the video and answer the following:
1. First Class Lever
Draw and explain how a first class lever works. Give a human example. 2. Second Class Lever
Draw and explain a second class lever. Give a human example. 3. Third Class Lever
Draw and explain how a third class lver works, give a human example.
