Exercise

Instructions: Click "go to material." On the left hand side under "For Return," Read the following short articles: Demands of the Greek Government, British Objections Answered, The New Acropolis Museum, the British Committee for the Restitution of the Parthenon Marbles. Further down on the left side under "Documents," Read: Was the Removal of the Parthenon Marbles Legal?, Why the Parthenon Marbles Should be Returned, Moral Issues of Cultural Return. After reading the seven articles write a five-page paper summarizing the positions of all sides in this issue and determine in your estimation, which side has the best argument for ownership.
