Les Pays Francophones et Leurs Habitants

The Atlas is a great source of information, but how about using it for vocabulary and the study of adjectives? The names for the inhabitants of Francophone countries are featured in this exercise which has two parts. Part one stresses information getting, where learners simply use the Atlas to find the adjectives, the flag colors and one additional fact about a group of Francophone country. Part two determines what the learners will do with the information. In-class Jeopardy games or geography bees provide an interactive option. For online courses, information can be used to design a competition online. Students can also choose one of the countries in the Atlas for an area studies report.

1. Faites une grille comme celle-ci pour
organiser les infos:

Le Cameroun	camerounais/camerounaise	vert, rouge et jaune
Le Maroc
La Tunisie
Le Mali
Le Burkina Faso
La Belgique
La Suisse
Le Sénégal
Le Djibouti

2. Pour trouver les adjectifs dans l'Atlas,
cliquez sur Francophonie et puis le nom du pays.

3. Pour trouver les drapeaux dans l'Atlas,
cliquez sur Francophonie, le nom du pays et Images.

4. Finalement, en consultant les autres pages
(Religion, Politique, Jeux Olympiques), trouvez un autre détail
qui vous intéresse sur le pays.

5. Partagez vos infos en classe ou au babillard
de votre classe.
