Users can read a sample of any book before adding to their library. Books can be shared across a household with the family library. Many local libaries now support ebook check-outs so a library book can be delivered wirelessly to the Kindle app. Having the option to purchase an actual book or an ebook provides flexibility and often cost savings for college students. Having the book in the Kindle app allows for reading anywhere their device is. This allows more opportunity for reading. Students can publicly share notes with one another if they choose.
Concerns:
Some students are not comfortable sharing notes publicly. It would be beneficial to be able to set up a class and allow notes to be shared only with others in the class.
