Overview:: The HRM Guide Network offers a tremendous number of entirely free pages of international HR-related content and links. Some of the content includes links to papers; HR updates, books and news releases; jobs and careers, and student HR. The primary countries represented in the articles include Canada, the UK, Australia, and the US but a few other countries are represented.

Recommended Uses:: This site is recommended for any HR practitioner, and for any students studying HR, and in particular, international HR. This site is also useful for employees who may be interested in pursuing more in-depth information about research in other countries, and issues and information about international HR.
Technical Requirements:: This material was reviewed using Adobe Flash version 14, Adobe Reader XI, Mozilla 44.0.2 and Java v8 update 71.
Identify Major Learning Goals:: - Students will learn what current information is available regarding current information on human resources. - Students will learn issues about international human resource management. - Students will discover what types of careers are available in HRM. - Students will learn statistics about HRM.
Target Student Population:: This target student population for this reference material can be either graduate or undergraduate, because there are many different categories of information available. This is recommended as a resource for anyone who teaches human resources; depending on course assignments, various items with in the reference material can be used as appropriate.

Concerns:: - Site organization is confusing for a first time user. - It is not clear is how often this is updated.

Concerns:: - No ability to see competencies associated with the resources. - Items are terminal information items with no ability to scaffold learning

Strengths:: - The material is extremely easy to access as many of the items are in direct links and the links reviewed for this material worked every time. This includes information on books, news, jobs and careers, regulatory updates. - The main listing of articles in the middle of the page provides direct download capabilities. - Web-based resources allow 24/7 access to self-directed learning and research.
Concerns:: - HRM Guide is an independent online publisher of articles and information about Human Resource Management and related subjects. Articles are aimed at HR Practitioners, researchers and students throughout the world.

Other Issues and Comments:: There are no other concerns other than the need for clarity on how often the site is updated. However, the reader needs to be aware that even though this is listed as international, there are very few countries actually represented as most of the documents come from Australia, Canada, the UK and the US. Good secondary resource for information on national and international human relations contains few primary resources other than articles.
