Temoa: Open Educational Resources Portal (OER) provides educators with an OER search engine and an excellent educational catalogue directory of available Open Educational Resources (OER) in Spanish and English. In addition, Temoa allows educators to exchange and share their experiences using Open Educational Resources and helps them easily find OER content by student grade level, subject, and genre.

The learning objects that are posted are short films, photos, lecture, documents...etc. and can be used to supplement lecture or create a multimedia lesson. They can be used as resources for class or for personal use.

There are many resources that are in Spanish and other languages. Even when English is designated, learning objects in languages other than English appear. Since links do not open in a new window, the user must know how to force this to happen or use the back button on the computer.

One of the strengths of the learning material is there are self contained learning objects such as video presentations. There are a plethora of learning materials that can be used in various situations. There is a search engine to filter content.
Concerns:
All of the learning objects are not peer reviewed. The learning objects are marked by its work flow status: audited, suggested, and cataloged. Some of the resources were no longer available. This database must be difficult to keep up-to-date.

Teachers and students can use this resource to enrich their learning. Since the resources are Open Access the student can quote in their submission using proper citation.

The Temoa website is intuitive. There are tabs at the top with drop menus. Upon selecting a learning object, using the back button the browser returns the user back to the Temoa website. Educators should definitely be aware of this resource and share it with their students. The site is well structured, easy to use, and the database is extensive.

Other Issues and Comments:
There is a warning when a resource may have been corrupted and should not be downloaded. This is important, and we appreciated it.
